Mumble Mumble Productions has produced between 50-75 spoken word events each year since 2006, including Story and Poetry SlamMN! Allison Broeren is the director of Mumble Mumble. She is also the Slam Master of Poetry and Story SlamMN!, the Managing Director of the Rockstar Storytellers, and a successful MN Fringe Festival director and performer.

Shows are at Kieran’s Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis. Parking is usually ample during our show times.
About our shows:
As a general rule, the doors of the slams open at 7:00 pm. Come early and order dinner and drinks, food and drinks are also served through the show. Slams start at 8:00 pm. There is usually a $5.00 cover.
Our venue and shows are open to all ages, but we do not censor or screen content, so use your best judgement.
Throughout the year there are special theme shows and additional nights of events, so check out the calendar often!
Word Ninjas Open Mic is the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Sign-up and Doors are at 8:00. Show is at 8:30. $3.00 Suggested donation. You’ll have 5 minutes to do whatever you want in the name of words.
